Aside from countless much more import issues like getting Elliot out of the desert and getting my EMERGENCY Motion re. Elliot filed by the Kingman superior court, I had to figure out why attorney for North Country Leslie Mclean claims that I agreed to settle.

Hello Leslie,

I’m sorry, I forgot about your 7/29/22 email as I had been working every day for over a week to meet the 7/29 disclosure deadline and then it took several more days to get the docs and audio uploaded and shared. And then I found Elliot on 8/4.

Care to help with getting Elliot out of the desert and evaluated and treated before he suffers serious harm or dies?

Why did you entirely IGNORE my 7/13/22 PROMPT response to your 7/12 letter?

You didn’t even bother to reply to my 7/13 email in your 7/29 email. Are you DELIBERATELY trying to kill what few brain cells I got left?

Yes, I wasted literally hours today going through emails, spam and junk folders. Am I missing your reply to my 7/13 email?

I wrote on 7/13:

“So I would be happy to TRY this for 3 months, stay the litigation and see what happens. If it works, we can talk about settling again. ”

Why do you think we’re settling?

NOTHING will be settled until I’m happy with the medical services I’ll receive.

You FAILED to address ALL the issues I raised in my 6/9/22 email to you:

Defendant North Country Healthcare MUST improve its patient communications and services

In case you didn’t read my Emergency Motion regarding Elliot, please have a look at footnote 9. Last night I was incredibly exhausted. This morning I found out that the court refused to file my motion and exhibits, I had to spend the day researching and ARGUING with the court, and now I have to REFILE everything.

My brain is now where it was on 1/29/20.

I am so tired. EXHAUSTED.

My arm has been hurting several times and I had to stop working.  My brain is failing rapidly, even under minor stress.

Such as while I’m trying to figure out when I agreed to settle with North Country.

I obviously have NO time to waste, am so incredibly stressed, not just about Elliot, but about my own health and my old mostly blind and deaf dog. He’ll have to be euthanized if I die before him or if I end up in the hospital with a stroke, after another accident, or whatever.

On Friday I lost about 5 hours because I made the mistake of answering the phone when Health Choice called. I advised the nice lady that I’ll have to kill myself because Health Choice has NO treatment options for me. She said she would research my neurologist choices and treatment options in Mohave County and I expect to never hear from her again.

“… this was sent after we agreed to move forward with terms of a settlement agreement whereby North Country would assign you a case manager to assure you get the medical care you need and a behavioral health professional to make sure communication between your providers and yourself is helpful and professional.”

I’ve now wasted HOURS and millions of brain cells on our emails and I do not understand.

I’ll only get healthcare from North Country if I agree to settle FIRST?

Please explain,

Christine Baker

I’ll update with Leslie’s reply.  Have to refile my EMERGENCY Motion for Elliot now.

Update 8/29/22:

Leslie did NOT reply. She wanted to schedule a PHONE CALL.

Phone calls are perfect to misrepresent and lie as it’s impossible to prove what was said unless recorded and even with a recording it’s very difficult and time-consuming to get an accurate transcript.  The goal is to get me to say something I don’t mean, to misspeak, misunderstand, and then to quote me later.  I declined.

Never ever believe ANYTHING a lawyer “says.”   They will twist your words, quote you out of context …  STICK to WRITING when dealing with ATTORNEYS!

On 8/23/22 Leslie advised the court that the settlement negotiations were terminated.

Here is my entire 7/13/22 response to Leslie’s ludicrous 7/12/22 settlement offer:

I’ve been wondering whether I missed an email from you, been so busy too after totaling my truck etc.

Are these the “settlement terms” you are referring to?

“North Country would like to assign a designated Case Manager to work directly with you in obtaining healthcare with them, or referring you to specialists, as needed. In addition, North Country will provide a Behavioral Health Consultant to be directly involved in your care to ensure that both parties are communicating in a respectful and effective manner. The goal would be for you and North Country, with the assistance of the Case Manager and Behavioral Health Consultant, to define a common plan for your ongoing healthcare needs.”

I obviously need healthcare, just got my latest test results yesterday, still am at 69 years biological age, 64 later this month.

I HAVE to get a continuous glucose monitor and I have been unable to order from AZ without prescription. Wanted to pay for it myself last week and could have ordered from any other state but Arizona. Can I get a prescription from North Country?

Can I get pharmaceutical quality supplements by prescription?

My supplement list:
https://repairthebrain.com/my-july-2022-supplements-spreadsheet/

I spend so much on supplements and am still having to worry about toxins and just learned about counterfeit supplements on Amazon. It’s scary.

Another issue is that “apparently” there are no brain care services in Mohave County, so how can I get my working memory fixed?
Do we have a NeuroQuant here?

It’s been two years, is there someone new specializing in brain damage and heart health?

What if my insurance DECLINES tests and meds? I never heard anything about the blood tests requested on 1/2. Were they ever approved?

Nobody at North Country wants to LEARN about preventing and reversing Alzheimer’s?

Are they going to tell me to do crossword puzzles again?

And what about my friends and neighbors?

Will I have to watch more friends commit suicide because THEY can’t get the healthcare they deserve?

If that doesn’t make you suicidal, you’re a psychopath. I’m an empath and it’s killing me to watch the people around me die from neglect.
I discussed this “settlement offer” with others and they were as perplexed as I am, so it’s not my brain damage.

I just read my posting/last email again and am very disappointed by the ABSENCE of answers to my questions. It would be unrealistic to expect answers to my questions now.

So I would be happy to TRY this for 3 months, stay the litigation and see what happens. If it works, we can talk about settling again. [Emphasis added]

Your thoughts?

Christine

I did not receive a single answer.

Leslie filed a stipulation to extend the time to settle another two months.

Attorney Leslie McLean wanted to TRICK me into accepting such an ABSURD settlement on the phone, essentially continuing the MALPRACTICE I have been subjected to.

On 7/29/22 Leslie wrote:

I am forwarding this letter from July 12, 2022. At that time you agreed to continue trying to settle. You did respond to this letter, I am concerned that you might not remember.

Yes, I did respond to the 7/12 letter on 7/13 [above], with the many questions Leslie refused to answer.

Where did I AGREE to settle?

She implies that it’s my BRAIN DAMAGE and that I FORGOT that I agreed to settle!

Fortunately, I REFUSED the phone calls and I stated in my 7/12/22 email:

So I would be happy to TRY this for 3 months, stay the litigation and see what happens. If it works, we can talk about settling again. [Emphasis added]

Attorney Leslie McLean MASTERED the skills of deception, manipulation, creating chaos and confusion and of course, simply lying.

There were a couple more emails from her, mostly about a phone call, but she cleverly started NEW email chains, making it extremely difficult for me to put it all together and I’m having a very hard time organizing.

Another reason to start a new email chain is that Leslie thinks that I am so demented I don’t remember that I had so many unanswered questions.  And, she might be right, but that’s why I post here.  A major reason for this blog is to keep a journal.

Yes, I DO have brain damage.  Just not THAT bad. Yet.

So I will have to put it all together, each and every email, and submit a comprehensive complaint to the Arizona State Bar.

I have no idea whether there are any Arizona Rules pertaining to fairness and communications with unrepresented parties.

I intend to find out.
